Last week, our team traveled to Verticon by VAI in Dallas, Texas, representing both Precise Flight, Inc. (our parent company) and the TwistLock Beverage Locking System.
Precise Flight specializes in aerospace safety and solutions, including Pulselite®, tube fabrication, environmental control systems, and, of course, TwistLock—originally designed for aircraft before expanding into marine, powersports, and outdoor markets.
While Verticon is primarily focused on helicopters and VTOL aircraft, it was exciting to see TwistLock back in its roots.
TwistLock in a Black Hawk & Bell 505
One of the biggest highlights of the week? Spotting two of our Vertical Mount Locking Cup Holders in a fully outfitted Black Hawk helicopter. This helicopter had it all—machine guns, missiles, dirt bikes strapped to the side, and, naturally, a secure spot for a drink.
Right across from us at the Bell Helicopter booth, we saw our Flat Mount and Vertical Mount installed in a Bell 505 police helicopter, complete with a custom-engraved TwistLock Canteen locked in place.

From Aircraft to Boats, ATVs & Beyond
As many of you know, TwistLock was originally designed to improve safety in aircraft cockpits. While most of our customers use it on their fishing boats, kayaks, side-by-sides, and ATVs, it’s always a thrill to see it in fixed-wing and rotorcraft around the world. More and more pilots and fleets are recognizing the risk of drinkware becoming projectiles or spills damaging avionics, making TwistLock an essential addition to the cockpit.
From the sky to the water and the trails in between, TwistLock keeps drinks secure wherever adventure takes you.
